CMC was selected for the design and construction of a 99,000 square foot expansion of the Maines Paper & Food Service facility in Binghamton, NY. In addition to turn-key design/build services, CMC also provided material handling analysis and design for the project.

The project consisted of a 55,000 square foot freezer expansion with a 17,500 square foot refrigerated shipping dock with (17) dock doors. The multi-temperature coolers were also expanded by 24,000 square feet. The project required an expansion of the existing engine room to accommodate the additional equipment that was required for the central ammonia refrigeration systems.
